I have jumped the gun on this occasion and have therefore edited the text of this adventure as to satisfy rather than offend.

I have just been informed that permission could be granted to do this trip, provided I approach the correct body and  all the indemnities required are signed. I will do this in aid of Rhino conservation in South-Africa. The specifics of who will benefit, will solely depend on my pre requisite that the money is not squandered on administration and only a bit gets to the project on the ground. Many of my very good friends have requested to accompany me on this walk, I like the idea especially from a companion point of view. I am however not in a position to entertain such requests as permission was firstly granted for only me and secondly this has been on my bucket-list for quite some time as a solo event.

The marketing opportunities this presents is huge, but in that department I am lacking badly! Please assist here if you see your way open to promote a just cause such as Rhino conservation. 

The distance involved is around 400km's and I will be sleeping in the veld most of the time.
